The Walking Dog offers two outings per day, morning and afternoon
All Weather Outing
Our morning outing is a still vigorous but less strenuous outing in one of several safe areas, including the beach! We rotate daily to ensure lots of new stimulus. This adventure is best suited to dogs who need exercise, but prefer a perhaps slightly more leisurely pace and less difficult terrain to navigate. It’s also great for dogs who enjoy a game of fetch, as there are lots of grassy areas to enjoy that activity. We supply the balls and Chuck-It! Includes pick up and drop-off from your home or work*. Maximum of 6 dogs per outing for lots of individual attention. Dogs are collected before 10:00AM and home before 1:00PM.
*Morning walks are ONLY for clients on the South side of the Port Mann Bridge. If you live in Coquitlam or Port Moody, please consider our afternoon adventures!
All Season Athletic Adventures
Our afternoon outing is either a vigorous hike in the forest, up steep mountain trails with lots of natural obstacles to navigate, fallen trees to leap and climb over, streams to splash around and swim in, or it’s a long run down a private network of forest patches and no-traffic gravel road, with a lake to swim in on the way there and back. Rain, snow or shine, this leash-free adventure is best suited to younger, fitter, athletic dogs who have lots of energy to burn! It is also suitable for dogs who are healthy and active enough to manage the trails but aren’t as adventurous as some of their more active playmates. Includes pick up and drop-off service from your home or work*. There are never more than 6 client dogs on an outing, so each dog gets individual attention from their walker. Dogs are collected after 1:00PM and dropped off between before dinner, so they’ll probably still be asleep when you get home from work.
NOTE THAT CURRENTLY THERE IS SPACE IN THE AFTERNOON OUTINGS ONLY (AS OF MARCH 2017)
*collection and drop off must be within The Walking Dogs transportation route – please contact us to find out more. Generally we service parts of Surrey, Langley and Coquitlam.
Drop-in / unscheduled walks, space permitting, are possible! Contact us to find out more.
